J and I have a tradition of spending Easter with his family.
Our Easter weekends usually include going out the night before, and spending Easter day gorging ourselves on delicious home-made food and desserts.
J's mom even gives each of us Easter baskets.
(Yes, we're all in our mid to late 20's.)

We had family here, and we always eat in a similar way to Christmas.
It is time to just 'be' I think.
We celebrate Easter in the sense of taking the holiday as time to be with those we love.

I don't normally celebrate Easter, but I tend to celebrate it every year with Stu's family. This year I skipped out on Easter activities with Stu's family and took a huge advantage of taking a break from everything by spending the weekend by myself (I sent Stu up to visit his family). It turned out to be a right move! :)
